Job Description

Essential Job Duties :

•Supports CenturyLink's processes and procedures

•Work closely across business units to implement necessary process changes

•Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders to understand evolving issues and requirements

•Understand upstream and downstream implications and dependencies, ensuring solutions are executed and properly coordinated

•Support the concept, definition, development, implementation and operational components for automating processes

•Represent the business throughout the cycle of a process/system change (business requirements, test cases, UAT, BETA, launch, on-going support)

•Diagnose root cause and execute solutions for process issues, and ensure timely problem resolution

•Create and maintain detailed process flows for multiple products, functional areas, and stages

•Develop and manage detailed Standard Operating Procedure documentation to support new and existing processes

•Work with stakeholders to develop training for new and changing processes

•Act as a process methodology SME to teammates

•Lead complex, diverse and/or technical process development sessions for CenturyLink products and services.

•Develop & write test use case scenarios

•Lead and Manage UAT across teams

•Manage Defects & resolution of Defects

•Work with IT for prioritization of requirements and defect resolution


Qualifications :

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Technology or related field

•Written skills to include ability to create and modify end to end process documents, work instruction documents and other documents that are distributed to a wide audience.

•Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.

•Ability to work in a customer service-oriented organization.

•Experience using Computer Systems and Windows-based applications including word processor, spreadsheet, and work flow and database software.

•Working level knowledge of the products and services offered by CenturyLink.

•Ability to lead at an executive read out level (Director and above)

•Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information and make recommendations based on analysis.

•Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications :

In addition to the above qualifications:

•4-6+ years of process and system improvement experience

•Knowledge of CTL Systems and Processes

•Intermediate knowledge of continuous improvement principles, methodologies, and practices

•Prior experience in a team lead role
