Primary Focus: Fiber GTM Campaign Development and Execution
CenturyLink is looking for an experienced marketer to grow adoption of Fiber Internet service among residential consumers (both single family and multi-dwelling) and support business decisions for future deployments. The Lead Marketing Manager will be expected to create best-in-class marketing plans and see them through to execution. The successful Lead Marketing Manager will share and deliver against high expectations for measurement of marketing activities, defining success metrics, methods of measurement and reporting processes for their programs.
The role of the Lead Manager of Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns and programs to increase fiber internet penetration within our fiber expansion and existing fiber footprint. This position will develop, implement and support tactics that drive high-touch marketing programs working with our internal and external business partners to meet CenturyLink revenue targets within the fiber footprint.
The candidate will identify, test, execute and optimize breakthrough marketing campaigns - including messages and experiences that reach the target audience and ultimately drive preference and purchase - and report key campaign KPIs
Primary Responsibilities Include:
GTM planning and achievement of early penetration gain targets in Fiber markets (both brownfield and greenfield).
Campaign development and creation of marketing materials, responsible for message design (pro-active and reactive mktg/comm), design tactic mix and contact strategy.
Working effectively across the organization including Fiber extended team, as well as working closely with network investment team, product management, network/operations, local field marketing, business intelligence, legal, marcom and pricing to achieve goals.
Manage marketing and campaign dashboards, reporting.
Manage campaign marketing budget.
The Lead Manager will work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to trial campaign tactics, programs, special offers, and enhanced CX journeys to achieve targets in fiber footprint.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5-7 years of recent experience in product management, product marketing or operational support for residential broadband products
Innovative and strategic thinker who has a strong customer and quality focus
Thorough understanding of GPON broadband technology and basic understanding of network build and customer provisioning processes
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong leader with the ability to create actionable business plans and deliver results cross functionally with technical and business partners at all levels in a highly matrixed environment
Sound ability to lead effective process development and improvement
Solid analytical and quantitative skills, including forecasting and advanced Excel techniques, with the ability to use meaningful data and metrics to support assumptions and evaluated outcomes
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, applied engineering or a related field.
Prior experience in Pre-sales a plus
MBA in Marketing or related field
Bachelors or Equivalent
