The purpose of this position is to support the CenturyLink SAP platform, including core ECC, FireWorks and Bidmaster The ideal candidate will maintain configuration, documentation, process flows, test scripts and training documentation for all systems and modules supported by the department.
Lead or support the planning, design and implementation of business process changes within assigned areas of responsibility-Project Systems within SAP. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of existing business processes, and the information and data they require and generate. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the computer application functionality required to make those business processes effective.
Lead or support the planning, design and implementation of business process changes within assigned areas of responsibility of Fireworks/BidMaster. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of existing business processes, and the information and data they require and generate. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the computer application functionality required to make those business processes effective.
Lead periodic review and assessment of current business processes versus the required functionality, and initiate proposals to modify or replace processes as necessary. Participate in periodic evaluation of the current applications portfolio versus the required functionality, and initiate proposals to modify or replace applications as necessary.
Develop functional requirements to support the business team’s initiatives, through coordinating meetings/discussions with impacted parties and the development teams.
Create user stories in Agile format with key requirements for enhancements and system issues for Fireworks/BidMaster with more focus on Fireworks
Organize effective task and steering teams to address complex and cross-functional project requirements, issues and objectives.
Perform configuration within SAP
Lead and complete testing initiatives related to yearly hotpack and HRSP implementations
Provide feedback and assistance to other team members in solutioning and configuration efforts.
5+ years overall SAP experience with 3+ years of experience project systems module; specifically, hands-on configuration.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Technology or related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
Minimum five years of experience in an area of business administration, finance, accounting or position performing similar duties and responsibilities.
Experience in SAP configuration focused in Projects Systems and Assets. Multiple ERP conversions/integration experience
Experience with system and process modeling and design tools.
Strong relationship, interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical and business process skills.
Demonstrated planning and coordination skills with development initiatives.
Proven ability to achieve success without direct organizational authority functional lines.
Experience with Winshuttle
Experience with converting legacy asset data from an external system into SAP
Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions. Excellent and effective communication (oral and written) skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
Ability to travel occasionally
