This role will be responsible for leading and managing the GAM Sales Operations function. It will also serve as the Business Operations lead aligned to the Global Head of Sales for the Global Accounts Management organization. In addition to leading a and developing a world-class sales operations function, this leader will be accountable for special projects on behalf of the GAM global sales leader.
Act as an advisor to senior executive and leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges. Develop key messages and create presentations on behalf of senior executive. Represent and communicate the priorities of the executive across the entire GAM organization and with other company stakeholders. Provide business intelligence and high level analysis for all data-driven decisions by the Sales organizations.
Develop and refine management system to ensure visibility by consistent monitoring of the business objectives, including all key leading indicators from a financial and operational perspective. Assist in developing staff meeting agendas to ensure agenda topics are timely, relevant, clear decisions are made and follow-up items are tracked. Deliver the supporting sales tools, analytics and business intelligence needed to accelerate best sales business practices, maximize market opportunities and drive corporate, Strategic Operations and channel initiatives.
Provide oversight of, and creation of, linkages for cross-functional projects, initiatives, and efforts across the senior leadership team. Drives the governance, metrics and reporting on tactical and ad-hoc projects supporting Layer 3-5 leaders, across all GAM functional areas, which may also include execution of ad hoc programs and projects
Accountable for ensuring that the Sales Operations team is focused on driving consistent and uniform processes throughout the sales teams. Accountable for driving month-end close process to ensure appropriate capture of sales recognition and interfacing with Compensation for questions related to the administration of the Sales Compensation Plan

5+ years of functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Sales Operations, Business Operations, IT, A&E, BPI, Product, Marketing, Sales, etc
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to structure and manage complex projects with limited direction.
Strong interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills.
Strong organizational and/or project management skills.
Strong experience or engagement with a variety of the CenturyLink functions and understanding of core operational processes.
Good business judgment.
Able to work independently and achieve business objectives without close supervision
Recognized business leader who is comfortable managing and leading senior leaders to achieve common business outcomes
