Job Summary

We have an opening for an Architect II position within the Global Network Technology and Security organization. The Architect II position will fulfill a non-supervisory role in the Strategic Modeling and Analytics department within the Global Network Architecture division. This position will be responsible for development activities and strategies associated to architecture modeling and analytics automation.

Job Description

  • Partner in a team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new applications or significant enhancements to existing applications of moderate to high complexity.

  • Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining and documenting solutions and procedures.

  • Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately/highly complex applications.

  • Work within an agile team that uses an agile-based design and development process.

  • Assist in developing full stack applications, as well as data analytics and visualization tools to support network architectures and models.

  • Assist in providing a functional path to enhanced comparative and predictive analytics through data acquisition, database development, and full stack development of reporting tools capabilities to assist in driving down architecture costs and risks.

  • Create and maintain software and process documentation as needed.

  • Develop understanding of business processes, products, and metrics to better communicate and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Adapt to new technologies and upgrade application software as well as 3rd party tools and API’s as needed.

  • Design and Develop reports and queries, as well as MEAN stack applications.


  • Master's degree (CS, IS, CE) with 2-3 years of professional experience and certifications or

  • Bachelor's degree (CS, IS, CE) or equivalent experience with 5+ years of professional experience and certifications

  • Experience with JavaScript / python data visualization libraries ((Ex: Chart.js, Highcharts, D3.js, Bokeh, ggplot, etc.) as well as familiarity with JavaScript and Python scripting for data analytics

  • Experience with agile development methodology and distributed version Control tools (Git)

  • UNIX/Linux intermediate skills, must be able to navigate around and deploy applications

  • Experience with Modern SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, NodeJS, and Express

  • Experience with MEAN stack development

  • Familiarity with networking concepts


Masters or Equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems

Bachelors or Equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems
