The Supervisor Field Operations Support is responsible for the supervision, coaching, development and performance management of Dispatchers and/or Load Specialists. They develop and streamline work force plans & schedules to align key processes with valid customer expectations and requirements.
This job supports the designated hours of the location, i.e. 6am -7pm, 6am -930pm local time, The coverage is seven days a week on a rotational basis, and also has duty rotation. There is occasional travel for meetings throughout the year.
Assures dispatchers are completing work in a timely & efficient manner.
Documents, audits productivity and quality of their subordinates.
Addresses performance issues within both union and/or non-union environments and ensuring compliance to established policies & procedures.
Leads and supports installation and repair processes using technical knowledge, effective communication skills, management tools, and quality process interventions.
Addresses escalations on customer service tickets.
5 years experience in Customer Service or related fields
Ability to act unilaterally, with some decision making required
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills
Above average leadership skills to motivate and direct a medium to large workforce
PC computer skills-Windows applications.
Understanding of Quality processes and ability to apply it to real life situations
Knowledge of Dispatch systems / Dispatch concepts and supporting systems
Technical knowledge of outside and inside plant operations
Knowledge of Global Ops systems and client server applications
BS degree/Technical degree in Engineering, Telecom, Business, Education
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to work in a team environment
