Job Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced Sr. Information Architect/Interaction Designer to join our fast-paced, energetic, and customer focused eBusiness digital team.

The Information Architect/Interaction Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and creation of detailed wireframes and prototypes derived from quantitative and qualitative research, working closely with internal customers, knowledge of best practices, and understanding the needs, characteristics and behaviors of our customers.

Job Description

  • Work with the UX Design Team to continually optimize the user experience

  • Collaborate with internal customers and translate software requirements into flow diagrams, visual wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate their needs into site architecture and design

  • Utilize segmentation identifiers to understand the users’ characteristics in-depth

  • Conduct customer and competitive research to assist in the development of online experiences

  • Review site analytics regularly to understand user behavior and assist in optimizations

  • Create customer-centric online experiences that simplify, improve conversion, NPS, overall online customer satisfaction, and various other key performance indicators

  • Conduct design reviews with team and stakeholders

  • Manage deliverable timelines to ensure work is completed on time

  • Partner with our development team to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation

  • Assist in the creation and execution of usability testing

  • Assist team with UAT

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience as an information architect, user experience designer, interaction designer or similar role.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Degree in a related field: Interactive Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors a plus

  • Extensive wire framing experience is necessary

  • Information architecture and interaction design experience for high volume transactional ecommerce websites

  • Information architecture and interaction design experience for multi-screen (phone, tablet, desktop) websites and/or apps

  • Telecommunications experience is a plus

  • Visual design experience or training is a plus

  • AB and multivariate test experience is a plus

  • Adobe creative suite experience

  • Axure or Invision experience a plus

  • Be prepared to present your recent experience visually
