Job Summary

The Lead Marketing Manager will be experienced in marketing automation platforms, is goal-oriented, and driven by results. This role will be responsible for executing relevant and brand-specific email, SMS, Push, and Social campaigns from end-to-end. Will partner with internal stake holders to develop data-driven strategies and increase KPIs in our consumer segment. The ideal candidate will also thrive in a fast-paced team environment with a high aptitude to learn.

Job Description

  • Primarily responsible for development and execution of email, SMS, Push, and Social communication initiatives from end-to-end.

  • Drive the company's reach through acquisition, retention, transactional, and Early Life/Onboarding initiatives.

  • Works closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, and Segment Managers to create, execute, and measure integrated email programs to drive the business.

  • Refine customer segmentation strategies and enhance targeting based on data driven results.

  • Ability to innovate and drive efficiencies that increases consumer impact

  • Excellent project management skills. Ability to manage both creative agency and operational needs.

  • Partner with CRM/database marketing leads to develop list criteria/segmentation requirements for campaigns to reduce operational timeliness and increase efficiency.

  • Conceptualize and initiate tests to continually improve key metrics across communication programs.

  • Analyze campaign metrics to drive day-to-day business decisions and determine future initiatives.

  • Identify and deliver process improvements to increase speed to market.

  • Partner with eCommerce and CX teams to identify and develop best-in-class customer communication programs.

  • Work with IT to create business requirements to resolve issues, data flows or other discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of email marketing automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) – minimum of 5 years of Email/Direct Marketing experience required.

  • Ability to develop email campaigns in HTML and CSS

  • Strong analytical skills (Adobe Analytics preferred) -- Comfortable using data to support marketing decisions; ability to glean intelligence and behavioral inferences from data

  • CRM experience

  • SMS experience and understanding of best practices

  • Email A/B testing along with creative/segmentation optimizations

  • Excellent project management skills, proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to keep multiple projects moving at once

  • Experienced in briefing senior leadership on email programs, strategy, and performance

  • Ability to create high level email marketing automation programs

  • Mobile optimization experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
