Manage tax audits, strategy, including researching technical issues and analyzing various state laws.
Assist with North America tax audits, audit strategy, including researching technical issues and maintaining compliance with state and local tax laws.
Assess audit risk when dealing with the auditors and assist in development of negotiation strategies in resolving audit risks.
Analyze data and audit trends to provide support for compliance team and audit function.
Utilize reverse audit techniques to generate tax savings in connection with state and local income and franchise tax audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years multi-state and local and federal tax experience or the equivalent in training and education
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Good oral and written communication skills
Computer related skills (i.e. Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
Ability to interact with others
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Telecommunications tax experience
