Job Summary

Manage tax audits, strategy, including researching technical issues and analyzing various state laws.

Job Description

  • Assist with North America tax audits, audit strategy, including researching technical issues and maintaining compliance with state and local tax laws.

  • Assess audit risk when dealing with the auditors and assist in development of negotiation strategies in resolving audit risks.

  • Analyze data and audit trends to provide support for compliance team and audit function.

  • Utilize reverse audit techniques to generate tax savings in connection with state and local income and franchise tax audits.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • Minimum 5 years multi-state and local and federal tax experience or the equivalent in training and education

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

  • Analytical skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Computer related skills (i.e. Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)

  • Ability to interact with others

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

Preferred

  • CPA

  • Telecommunications tax experience
