The Enterprise Sales Enablement team is part of the CenturyLink Product Development & Technology organization and is responsible for delivering enterprise quoting solutions to our sales organization. As a Manager for Sales Enablement you will provide technical leadership within the engineering team and bridge the gap with our business partners. This position will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing delivery environment. It requires highly motivated and focused people curious to build new and innovative solutions for our users.

Job Description

  • Lead a team of engineers to Design, develop and drive the next generation of Sales Enablement solutions for CenturyLink

  • Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Jenkins with a DevOps philosophy

  • Be a champion of new ways of collaborating with technology and business partners

  • Search out and evangelize new and emerging technologies including open source tools

  • Influence and implement improvements and efficiencies in the technical aspects of the development process

  • Ensure the highest quality software is developed, delivered and maintained

  • Be a key leader in the agile process fostering collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and transparency

  • Manages multiple global scrum teams that operate cross-functionally with program management and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code.

  • Advocate, adopt and coach their team on SAFe Agile and DevOps engineering practices.

  • Support their teammates through HR processes such as career growth, performance reviews, and blocker removal.

  • Work alongside others on the team to provide architectural and design guidance.

  • Lead design solutions and partner across the company for initiatives that include cloud computing, infrastructure, distributed systems, microservices orientated patterns, security and/or automation.

  • Embrace and model a culture that promotes an empowered team environment.

  • Acts a servant leader to support their team


Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience

Typically with 5 - 7 yrs of related experience and 1 + yr previous supervisory / leadership experience.
