CenturyLink is looking for a Lead Instructional Designer to join our Talent Development team. This individual will have ownership of broad areas and learning programs including the repsonibilities below:
Plans, organizes and develops training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific learning needs.
Conducts needs assessments and training program design strategies to develop programs and curricula that are responsive to current business needs, multiple skill levels and learning theory.
Analyzes training trends and business needs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing and job performance metrics.
Designs training measurement plans for program evaluation leveraging Kirkpatrick Training evaluation model.
Partners with Instructional Design Managers to continue to increase skills of the team.
Provides instruction and guidance to trainers and instructional designers.
Analyzes the emerging learning technology environment to continue to drive design and development within the teams.
Learns and applies new technologies to the design, development, and delivery of online learning, including audio, video and animation.
Extensive project management experience leading training development efforts.
Expert with online training development tools like Articulate Storyline 2.
Expert in online course publishing standards like SCORM/AICC.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
6 - 8 years of related experience.
