The Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst in the Margin Assurance organization is responsible for performing detailed customer and vendor audits that identify revenue recovery and cost savings opportunities. The Sr. Analyst will isolate and research services, analyze the business drivers, determine root cause and work with functional and business teams to resolve issues. The Sr. Analyst will develop audits and reports and complete complex data analysis.
This role is responsible for improving cross-functional quote-to-bill, network-to-bill and cost-to-revenue processes and developing business intelligence. Operational activities include performing detailed audits that enable revenue recovery and/or cost savings opportunities. This will include reporting of operational data, creating and monitoring business metrics, trend and root cause analysis, error resolution, managing dashboards, and communicating results to stakeholders. The Sr. Analyst will be called upon to problem solve and provide guidance to operations, business units, and IT and also at times function as the stand in deputy for the department manager.
This person must be independently motivated and take full ownership of results. The Sr. Analyst will have strong technical skills and operational business savvy with the ability to thrive in a challenging environment with competing priorities. Exceptional data modeling, acquisition and analytical skills are a must.
Audit and evaluate customer’s invoices, contracts, and orders to ensure revenue is billed appropriately and adequate margin is obtained
Analyze customer’s access charges and offnet architecture to optimize
Work with and manage multiple departments to ensure customer’s services are at the appropriate margins and installed and disconnected in agreed timeframes
Architect and implement Margin Assurance controls including source data acquisition, normalization and automation
Implement new control points and metrics as the business changes
Optimize database including query development and warehousing to transform large volumes of data into actionable audits
Support adhoc requests, reports and projects
Lead operational reviews with stakeholders including executives
Telecom network experience, access management domain preferred
Understanding of Margin Assurance principles
Understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS environments
Proficiency with MS SQL BI Suite (Enterprise Manager, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Strong experience in various reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Brio, etc.)
