Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and energetic Inside Sales Account Manager (telephone based account management) to strengthen our wholesale Sales team at CenturyLink in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You have at least a BA /BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or equivalent. And, even better you have got a natural sales talent, driving excellent communication, building interpersonal relationships and you have great organisational skills.

Job Description

You will be part of both the Wholesale team and Sales organization. Your key task is to source, identify and sell opportunities over the telephone. In this role you drive telephone-based account management of our existing customer base. You achieve sales targets by maintaining call rate, revenue and talk time levels. You find and get in contact with decision makers through networking, cold-calling, email and social media. On top of that you support the teams Account Directors building up an Indirect Sales Channel. Being the expert in the Company’s product technologies and services you quickly build customer relationships to understand their objectives and needs in order to provide the right solution for their business and ultimately close the deal. You are accountable for protecting base revenue and meeting/exceeding average quota. This role is the first step in a potential CenturyLink career that can evolve along a Sales path.

Qualifications

We need energy, excellent communication skills and telephone manner, commercial feeling, strong influencing and persuasive skills and a competitive nature. You have all of that and a result orientated, positive and determined attitude. You build strong relationships with customers and meet and exceed sales targets. Ideally, you have gained 2-3 years Sales experience in a similar inside sales role and you have 1-2 years’ experience selling similar products and services. In addition, Salesforce.com/RM knowledge is a big plus as well.
